Chapter 1 Summary

Chapter 1 Breakthroughs of Agriculture to end of Chapter:

Human life began to expand once Agriculture transcended. Farmers began to learn new ways to grow their plants. Populations and society were transformed greatly. Hunting and Gathering were actively being used by men and women. Nevertheless, women were started to be expected to feed the communities. Some of the main products that sustained human life were wheat, corn, rice, barley, and sorghum. Many plants and animals were domesticated by Humans. At this time they didn't have all the tools we have know, but they figured out new ways to make sure the crops were getting the potential it needed. Chiefdoms were created in some areas as a way to show power and privilege. The Paleolithic era showed us what people used to do to feed their people and get order.
